Between Aljezur and Arrifana, just follow the trail signage!

Clarification regarding circulation on the Historical Way in Vale Palheiro

We have received alerts from several hikers (and cyclists) regarding a trail closure in Vale Palheiro (on the Aljezur » Arrifana trail section of the Historical Way). Rota Vicentina team has already spoken with the landowner. The path has been closed for vehicle access with a gate, but pedestrian passage is still allowed through another gate that has been installed for this purpose. We have added some posts to ensure the safety of hikers and will soon install warning signs.

The path continues along the same trail… just follow the signage!
