Reflecting on this adventure, I realize how rich, educational, and full of <strong>unforgettable memories<\/strong> this year has been.  <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">My volunteering experience with<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/rotavicentina.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Rota Vicentina<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, as part of the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cm-odemira.pt\/p\/voluntariadointernacional\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Regenerar Odemira II program<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <a href=\"https:\/\/youth.europa.eu\/solidarity_pt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Solidariy Corps<\/a>, is coming to an end, but the experiences and lessons I&#8217;ve gained will stay with me for a long time.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media=&#8221;26187&#8243;][\/vc_single_image][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">First and foremost, I want to thank all the people who made this journey so memorable and contributed to making this adventure <strong>so special<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong><br \/>\nA huge thank you<\/strong> to the Rota Vicentina team for their warm welcome and constant support. They shared their passion for the region, hiking, and nature with me, and allowed me to acquire new skills, both technically and personally. Every challenge I faced helped me grow and surpass myself. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Every challenge I faced helped me grow and surpass myself.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media=&#8221;26191&#8243;][\/vc_single_image][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">From the very beginning, with Martina, my volunteering partner who shared daily life, work, projects, and friendship with me, we experienced intense moments together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Like the four-day <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/blog.rotavicentina.com\/caminhada-dos-sentidos-nina-leroy\/&amp;sa=D&amp;source=docs&amp;ust=1728921408231926&amp;usg=AOvVaw16vPMNbEMZtpEKIgFEA2WT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hike <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">between Cercal do Alentejo and Zambujeira do Mar. This<strong> immersion in Alentejo<\/strong> allowed us to discover breathtaking landscapes, warm-hearted people, traditions, and generous nature.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In just a few days, I felt at home, and after a year, leaving this place is even harder.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media=&#8221;26199&#8243;][\/vc_single_image][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=&#8221;h3&#8243; text_size=&#8221;h3&#8243;]A year full of connections[\/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the heart of this experience, it was mainly the people I met that touched me the most. The other volunteers, from different countries and cultures, enriched my everyday life. The local residents, with their generosity and eagerness to share their region, also played a key role in this human adventure.  <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The highlight of this adventure was undoubtedly the organization of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.rotavicentina.com\/en\/the-juntes-festival\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">JUNTES Festival.<\/span><\/a> A project combining art, meetings, music, the region, and celebration. It was an incredible mix of creativity, management, and challenges, and I take great pride in it.<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Um projeto que combinou arte, encontros, m\u00fasica, a regi\u00e3o e celebra\u00e7\u00e3o. Foi uma mistura incr\u00edvel de criatividade, gest\u00e3o e desafios&#8230; Tenho muito orgulho nisso.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<strong>This year has opened my eyes to the world<\/strong>, given me a sense of civic responsibility, and a fresh perspective on the importance of community and mutual support.
