A transformative experience in the heart of Southwest Alentejo and the Vicentine Coast.<\/span><\/div>\n

Are you between 18 and 30 years old and looking for an experience that brings together nature, community and purpose? The Rota Vicentina Association<\/a> is looking for new international volunteers to join the long-term volunteering project \u201cRegenerar Odemira IV<\/a>\u201d, promoted by the Municipality of Odemira<\/a> within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For 5 months, volunteers will have the opportunity to live and actively collaborate within the Rota Vicentina territory, contributing to a model of Responsible and Regenerative Tourism<\/a> in Southwest Portugal<\/a>. Based in the town of Odemira, the project combines trail maintenance activities, communication support, promotion of local tourism initiatives, and reflection on the relationship between tourism and rural communities. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Being a volunteer at Rota Vicentina is much more than simply taking part in outdoor activities.<\/strong> It means immersing yourself in a territory deeply connected to its landscapes, people and local traditions. It is an intercultural experience where you can develop new skills and become part of a team committed to nature conservation and sustainable development. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Throughout the project, volunteers will support different areas of activity, such as:<\/span>
\n\u2013 Maintenance and monitoring of Walking<\/a> and Cycling<\/a> Trails;
\n\u2013 Support for communication campaigns and digital content creation;
\n\u2013 Participation in community activities and events;
\n\u2013 Support in promoting the local tourism offer;
\n\u2013 Reflection and awareness-raising around Responsible and Regenerative Tourism.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2013 Young people between 18 and 30 years old;
\n\u2013 Interested in nature, sustainable tourism and rural communities;
\n\u2013 Eager to learn and with a proactive attitude;
\n\u2013 Comfortable working in teams and taking part in outdoor activities;
\u2013 Sensitive to topics related to nature conservation and the impact of tourism;
\u2013 Interested in communication, storytelling, photography, video or social media.

No previous professional experience is required \u2014 only motivation, curiosity and the willingness to actively contribute to the territory.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The programme offers:
\n\u2013 A monthly allowance funded by the European Solidarity Corps<\/a>;
<\/span>
\n\u2013<\/span> <\/b>\u2013 Fully equipped shared accommodation in Odemira (each volunteer will have a private bedroom, while the bathroom will be shared); <\/span>The house will be fully equipped, including a shared living room and kitchen where volunteers can prepare their meals);
\n\u2013 Transportation related to the project activities;
\n\u2013 Insurance and support throughout the entire experience;
\n\u2013 Informal training and integration into an international network of volunteers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
