A compass pointing towards a region where the hills meet the plains, the inland stretches all the way to the sea, and every place has a different story to tell.<\/p>\n

Portugal\u2019s largest municipality by area, Odemira is also a land of contrasts: from the sheltered beaches<\/strong> of the coast to the landscapes of the hills<\/strong>, taking in the Mira River<\/strong>, the Santa Clara Reservoir<\/strong>, the villages<\/strong> and the town of Odemira<\/strong>. It is precisely this diversity that Time Out<\/em> seeks to reveal, through a selection of places to eat, stay, explore and enjoy.<\/p>\n

Rota Vicentina is an invitation to discover Odemira on foot<\/strong>. Part of a network of trails stretching between<\/strong> Santiago do Cac\u00e9m and Lagos<\/strong><\/a>, it offers three ways to explore the region: the Historical Way<\/strong><\/a>, the Fishermen\u2019s Trail<\/strong><\/a> and the Circular Routes<\/strong><\/a>.
