Six months of an unforgettable experience

Looking for a project that truly speaks to you? Rota Vicentina is opening two long-term volunteering positions, with a monthly grant, for young people between 18 and 30 years old, starting in January 2026. Applications are open until September 8th.

If you feel connected to the land, rural communities, and topics like ecology and sustainability, if you enjoy photography, video, writing, and want to discover Portugal — this message is for you!

Being a volunteer with Rota Vicentina means being part of a project dedicated to responsible and regenerative tourism in a predominantly rural region, crossed by a Natural Park and a network of walking and cycling trails that offer a deep connection with nature and local communities.

So, if you care about environmental and ecological issues and would like to contribute as part of an organization committed to preserving the Southwest of Portugal and engaging responsibly with both locals and visitors — this is the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
