Martina Tosi

Volunteer at Rota Vicentina Association

Martina Tosi was born in Italy in 1998. She has just finished her studies in Communication Sciences and as a tireless dreamer is still searching for her way. But one thing is certain: her passion for nature and ethnography have always been her faithful travelling companions. Since October 2023, she has been a long term volunteer at Rota Vicentina, where she will spend a year participating in the 'Regenerate Odemira II' project (European Solidarity Corps). Nina was born in 1998 and raised in Chartres in France. She studied theater and visual arts. She worked with children and teenagers in a school and in summer camps. She is a ECS volunteer for one year in Rota Vicentina, as part of the Regenerar Odemira II project. Paula Canha

Volunteering & Environmental Awareness

Biologist, Master’s degree in Conservation Biology, teacher at the Secundary School of Odemira. She has has been living in the municipality Odemira since 1987. Her main interests are the knowledge, dissemination and preservation of the natural values of southwest Portugal. She has participated in numerous environmental studies, ecological monitoring works and natural values mapping. She collaborates, among other projects, in the Red List of the Flora of Portugal and in the Flora-on portal (Portuguese Society of Botany). She is a co-author of several science publications. Born and raised in Lisbon, with her heart on the Alentejo coast. She runs away from the city whenever she can, or whenever she needs to. Rita is working with Rota Vicentina on communication and production of Semana ID event. After 25 years of journalism, she decided to change direction. Born in Montpellier, France southern, in 1982. In 2005, he radically changes her life and settles in the Alentejo. In Rota Vicentina, she manages the ID project, with the aim of bringing the tourism sector and the local community closer together. She likes sewing, reading but also outdoor activities!
