A fall full of activities and exciting news!
Maintenance is coming to the Cycling Trails
The volunteer season is back, bringing lots of new opportunities! Our new calendar is now available and promises unique experiences for everyone who loves the outdoors, trails, and nature conservation.
Maintenance Hikes
The well-known caminhadas maintenance hikes remain at the heart of our program. These are moments of socializing, discovery, and, of course, direct contribution to the preservation of the Rota Vicentina Hiking Trails. With the help of our volunteers, we keep the trails accessible, safe, and welcoming for all visitors.
News: Maintenance Rides
This year we are introducing something special: maintenance biking rides! Inspired by the success of the hikes, these activities invite cycling enthusiasts to join the volunteer spirit. The goal is simple: ride the trails while helping with small maintenance tasks that make a big difference to the cycling experience.
Nature Conservation in Partnership with Mossy Earth
Another exciting addition is nature conservation activities in collaboration with Mossy Earth! This partnership allows us to work together on controlling invasive species and supporting the conservation and restoration of local ecosystems. It’s a unique opportunity to learn, take action, and see the direct impact of volunteering on biodiversity preservation.
Participation in volunteer activities is free but prior registration is required, as spaces are limited. Registration is done through our online form.

Can’t make it on any of the scheduled dates but still want to support our work? You can make a donation — find out how here.
Important note: If you cannot attend after registering, please let us know in advance so we can offer your spot to someone else.
We encourage everyone to commit: mark the dates in your calendar and invite your friends to join! For any questions, contact us via the phone number or email provided on the poster.
