🇬🇧 I’m caretaker of Sissal Beach Circular Route

Catarina Pinto
Caretaker since 2019

Catarina Chagas Pinto takes care, since 2019, of Circular Route of Sissal beach, in Porto Covo.

I am a 1st cycle teacher and an unconditional fan of the Alentejo Coast.
I have lived in the region for about 20 years and spent my summer holidays here since childhood.
This is one of the regions that have been maintained in its natural state and I hope it will remain so for a long time.
The trail at Praia do Sissal is one of the paths I took with my family since I was little (12 years old), during the holidays.
When I go on this journey, I remember my adolescence and to feel the same scent of rockrose mixed with the sea air, to hear the quack of the gray-necked rooks that stay overnight on the island and to observe the island in its splendor, as a majestic princess of our coast.
