Semana ID 2023: March 26th to April 1st

3 minutos de leitura

Next Spring, Rota Vicentina will celebrate once again the identity of the Southwest of Portugal with an event for the whole community!

The 3rd edition of Semana ID (ID Week in portuguese words) takes place between March 26th and April 1st.

In the year that marks the 10th anniversary of Rota Vicentina Association, we invite all community and local partners to another edition of Semana ID.

Semana ID was born in 2021, in an exclusively online edition, which made us think about the sustainability of the territory.

In 2022, in the 2nd edition of Semana ID, we finally go out to the streets, hills, markets and trails with several initiatives co-constructed with the community from the ID project and its bases of sustainability, quality and IDentity of our land. Do you remember how it was?

In 2023, we want to continue on this journey. Show the essence of Southwest of Portugal. Whether for those who are travelling, for those who like to rediscover their homeland from a different perspective, for those who want to get to know their neighbourhood better: Semana ID is for everyone and by everyone.

The programme will gradually become available on Rota Vicentina Agenda. Propose your activity or contact us to propose your idea.

This event is nothing more than what Rota Vicentina is all year: cultural activities such as theatre shows or music concerts, birdwatching, walking and cycling tours, environmental awareness, community meetings, workshops with local products… A range of activities prepared by people and companies of this region. Because the main idea is that everyone contributes to the design our tourism. Tourism can only be sustainable if it integrates the local community and contributes to building a region where it is good to live.
