Calendar with volunteering, maintenance and monitorizing activities, in September and October 2022

This Autumn we will come back to the trails!

We are still in the peak of Summer, but we are already thinking about the next season, the next hiking period and the various activities we will have in the Southwest of Portugal!

We are looking forward to this time! We also like Autumn, with a softer and golden light, shorter days but still warm, less people and more tranquility…

In Rota Vicentina, we have already set the dates to visit some trails in the region, check how they are and carry out the necessary maintenance. It’s a good opportunity to walk Rota Vicentina trails and get your hands dirty… If you’ve never walked on a signposted trail, like the Fishermen’s Trail or the Historical Way, you will realize that it’s very peaceful and simple!

In this calendar there are also two dates with a different but no less interesting activity: being in a trail (in a place defined by the Rota Vicentina team), counting the walkers and making surveys. This monitoring action is essential for us to understand the impact of Rota Vicentina in the region.
