Welcome Spring!

3 minutos de leitura

A brand-new volunteer calendar packed with activities is here! 🌼

After a rainy first quarter, it's time to head outdoors, embrace nature... and refresh our trail markers!

In this new calendar, we will continue to have activities on Saturdays and some public holidays, but we’re also adding a few weekday events.

🥾 We’ll have our much-anticipated maintenance hikes, which are essential for keeping our trails in top shape—with your support, these will be wonderful moments to reconnect and enjoy together!

🌿 In May, we’ll host activities in our pilot areas during the Invasive Species Awareness Week
which will take place from May 3rd to 11th. This week is organized by various entities across the Iberian Peninsula to engage the community and raise awareness about invasive exotic species.

And since litter on the trails is a constant issue, we’ve planned a cleanup walk on May 17th in partnership with Sustainable Shit (IG: @sustainable.shit) to clean up the Vale Figueiras-Carrapateira section and leave it spotless.

Volunteer Calendar

The participation is free but registration will be necessary, and we will limit the maximum number of participants. Registration is done through our online form.

A very important note: If you sign up but later realize you cannot attend, please let us know in advance so we can make your spot available to others.

We kindly ask for your commitment when registering. Mark the dates in your calendar and invite your friends to join as well! If you have any questions, feel free to contact us using the phone number or email provided on the poster.

Not available on any of the scheduled dates but still want to support our work?  You can make a donation!

See you soon, volunteers! 👋
