How was the return of Rota Vicentina to CMT Fahrrad & WanderReisen?
And three years later, CMT Fahrrad & WanderReisen returned and the Vicentine Route was present, very well represented by Diogo Trindade and Irene Nunes, in a joint participation with the Algarve Tourism (ATA).
Many Germans made their way to Stuttgart from January 14 – 16. According to Messe Stuttgart, this year the fair had no fewer than 265,000 visitors!
During the fair, Rota Vicentina was visited not only by those who had already booked a trip, but also by those who had no plans for their next holidays and wanted to know more about Rota Vicentina.
The “Fischerpfad” (the term used there to describe our Fishermen’s Trail) was undoubtedly the most popular, but the mountain bike trails also attracted many visitors to the Rota Vicentina meeting.
In addition to walkers and cyclists, we were also visited by the team of “Turismo de Portugal” in Germany – with whom we had dinner and were able to share more details about Rota Vicentina and the challenges of the region – and tour operators who may be on their way to approach the project!
It was a very positive experience. Participating in these kind of events is always very motivating for our team, as we can see the relevance and importance of our work in a different way!
Next stop: Fiets en Wandelbeurs in Ghent (Belgium) and Utrecht (The Netherlands).
