🇬🇧 Maintenance Walk from Furnas to Salema

1 reading time

On the 14th of January, the first walk of 2023 took place between Furnas and Salema, a section that is part of the most difficult stage of the Fisherman’s Trail.

On this day, the cold weather took a small vacation and the sun shone as if summer was back for a while. We walked through the red and rocky land of the Algarve’s cliffs, discovering hidden valleys that framed discreet beaches and its calm, crystal-blue sea. The maintenance was demanding but it did not lowered the energy and persistence of this group of volunteers!

We would like to thank everyone who joined us for this walk with some recorded moments to remember.
